The Skills Guide
The Skills Guide, developed as part of YES project, is designed to directly address the challenges faced by young people aged 25–35 in entering the labour market, including economic, geographic, educational, and migration barriers. The guide is based on extensive qualitative and quantitative data collected from both employers and young job seekers. Employers highlighted the specific skills required for successful employment, while young people shared the obstacles they encounter when applying for internships or job positions.
The guide is structured into three main sections:
✔️CV, Motivation Letter, and Interview Preparation
✔️Soft Skills development
✔️Digital Skills and AI literacy
By offering practical strategies and accessible resources, the Youth Employment Skills Guide empowers young people to present their skills effectively, build confidence, and prepare for meaningful career opportunities in today’s evolving job market.
